Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA) migrated to the Government Procurement (e-GP) System that replaced the manual and paper-based system of public procurement. The aim of implementing this Project is to achieve broad Government economic governance objectives of enhancing efficiency, transparency and accountability in public procurement

Government in partnership with the United Nations Development program has set up the parliament with an e-chamber and an electronic system.

Malawi National Data Centre Launched

President Chakweralaunched the  National Data Centrewhich is fully operational, and will be a key building block for the country’s digital economy. All government institutions will also be connected to enable speedy delivery of services such as E-Health, E-Government, E-Commerce and E-learning among others. The centre will also provide services to non-governmental organisations and private entities.
